Unit Info

The 606th Shadow Company is an Arma 3 Star Wars unit. We focus on playing during the 2nd Phase of the Clone Wars, along with certain operations taking place in the early stages of the Galactic Civil War.

We host our operations at PST/CST/EST friendly times, with our Main Operations/FTXs taking place at Saturdays at 5:00 pm PST (7:00 pm CST / 8:00 pm EST).

We currently offer the following MOSes:

  • Squad Leader
  • Team Leader
  • Rocket Gunner
  • Weapons Operator
  • Asst. Weapons Operator
  • Heavy Gunner
  • Demolitions/Explosive Specialist
  • Autorifleman
  • Marksman
  • Medic
  • Rifleman
  • RTO

Along with the following detachment roles:

  • JTAC
  • Pilots and Aircraft Crew
  • ARC/ARF troopers
  • Parajumpers

Trainings

Basic Training/BCT/INDOC

Upon joining the unit, you will be taken through our INDOC training. If you are new to Arma 3, this will cover how to use things like ACE, using the in-game map, using TFAR for radios, along with some basic tactics and strategy.

If you’re already experienced in these fields, we’ll mostly just make sure you know everything we need you to and fill in the blanks.

For new players trainings can last from one to two hours depending on the class size and skill level. Experienced Arma vets can expect to be in an out in a half hour at most.

NCODC

In order to take up a billeted leadership position, a trooper must take NCODC, the 606ths standard leadership course. This course covers the mental and physical aspects of team leading.

Runtime: 1.5-2 hours. Requirements: CLC or above

MOS Qualifications

Most weapons qualifications can be accessed at the rank of CT. This includes roles like Rocket Gunner, or Marksman.

Standard MOS trainings take around 0.5-1 hours.

Advanced Detachment trainings

Becoming a JTAC, ARF, or ARC Trooper? You’ll need to make it through our selection process and proceed to take the respective training course.

Trainings will be carried out by detachment leaders and will usually take around 2 hours to complete.
